Summer Experience Program

The Summer Experience Program is a way for prospective members who live locally to enjoy membership at Saucon Valley Country Club before proceeding through the formal membership process. Participants and their families are granted use of the Club from May 23 through September 30, and are encouraged to experience the Club's amenities while building relationships with new friends and colleagues. Participants' guests are welcomed for social events, dining, racquets, fitness, swimming and golf at the current guest rates.

All players who wish to utilize the 18-hole golf courses or participate in golf events must be covered by a Golf Privilege. The Program includes one Golf Privilege; however, additional Golf Privileges for family members who are active golfers may be added for the duration of the program at $140 monthly per person. Participants and their families all have access to the Short Course. Participants are unable to participate in Board tournaments or Club Championships, and may play in Member-Guests as the Guest.  Tennis, squash, platform tennis, and pickleball are all included in the Family Racquets Privilege provided with the Summer Experience Program. Lessons, clinics and camps are additional, and participants are excluded from competing in any Racquets Championships. The Summer Experience Program also includes a Family Fitness Privilege for unlimited use of the two-story Fitness Center. Unlimited Class Privileges are available for purchase, or participants may take fitness classes at the drop-in rate. For more frequently asked questions, please see here.

The cost of the Program is $7,500 and participation is a one-time opportunity. Applicants should complete this form and secure two letters of recommendation from their sponsors. Letters should outline the length and depth of the relationship between the sponsor and applicant, being sure to include why the applicant would be an asset to the Club and their likelihood of proceeding with full membership. Members of any classification, provided they have one year of membership tenure, may serve as a sponsor.

Completed applications should be sent to Melissa Chuhran, Director of Membership and Marketing, via email to mchuhran@sauconvalleycc.org or via fax to (610) 332-2117. They may also be dropped off at the Main Clubhouse with the Front Desk Attendant Tuesdays through Sundays.

To ensure a proper welcome to the Club and receive an overview of all facilities and programs available, participants are required to complete an orientation session with Club management on Thursday, May 8.
