This hole takes its name from the entrance road to the Club, which runs along the left side of the hole. A tee shot of nearly 300 yards is required to carry the crest of the hill from the back tee. If the player carries the hill, they’ll have a short iron to an elevated and severely undulating green. This hole was ranked as most difficult in two previous U.S. Senior Opens, as well as the U.S. Women’s Open in 2009.
