Long hitters may choose a 3-wood tee shot to avoid the pond in the center of the fairway, which turns gently from left to right. The second shot is to an elevated green guarded by a deep bunker on the left. Look to the right as you approach the green, and you will see the small stone “spring house” from which the hole takes its name.
