This hole is one of the greatest tips of the cap to Club founder Eugene Grace. Grace believed that par 5s should not be reachable in two strokes, thus, this double dogleg perfectly incorporates a meandering Saucon Creek forcing accurate shots before attacking the green with a short iron or wedge. That said, today’s longer hitters can go for it in two, but they must place a perfect tee shot on the right side of the fairway, which brings the tree line and creek into play and can turn a manageable par 5 into a quick bogey with the slightest of misses.
