Fly Fishing

A great attribute of the Saucon Valley Country Club property is several miles of Saucon Creek and its population of native and stocked trout. To further enhance members’ enjoyment of the total facility, catch and release fly fishing on the Saucon Creek is offered.

Fly fishing is for SVCC members and their families only.  A current Pennsylvania fishing license with trout stamp is required.  Members must purchase a yearly SVCC fishing badge.  Proceeds from the sale of the annual fly fishing badge will be used to stock the stream.  Fly fishing is permitted at any time, provided it does not interfere with golf.  Fly fishing is also permitted year-round whenever the course is closed to play, including Mondays and during the maintenance shutdown.

Personal casting lessons, group lessons and on-stream guidance is available through an in-residence fly fishing professional by appointment. Watch for a variety of social activities throughout the year.

Playground/Kids' Club

The playground at Saucon Valley Country Club has swings, sliding boards and climbing activities. Children enjoy playing in the expansive sandbox only a few feet away. Directly next to the playground are shuffle board, basketball, pickleball and volleyball courts.

Kids' Club runs for four weeks during the summer. The program offers instruction in golf and tennis, where the focus is on proper mechanics, fundamentals and developing hand-eye coordination. Campers also enjoy exploring the natural world at SVCC, especially the Saucon Creek, as well as arts and crafts, fitness activities and cooling off in the pool.
