Nathan came to SVCC after having served as a squash instructor at the West End Racquet Club where he provided both individual and group instruction. In addition, Nathan provided individual training and coaching for juniors participating in tournament play. On the competitive front, Nathan most recently participated on the U.S. Professional Squash Tour during the 2011-2012 season where he earned a top 20 ranking on the circuit. Prior to the professional tour, Nathan was recruited and played varsity squash at St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) – a squash program which is perennially ranked among the top 10 collegiate teams in the country.
Nathan has qualified and participated in tournaments around the world – including the Dutch Open (Netherlands), the Pioneer Open (Germany), the Nottingham Open (Great Britain) and the 2008 Junior World Open (Bermuda). As a junior, Nathan trained under current head coaches at Columbia University and Fordham University and he achieved a U.S. Squash Racquets Association (USSRA) nationally ranking of #22 (under 19). Nathan attended Parkland High School where he helped organize the school’s first club team which participated in the National High School Squash Championships at Yale University in 2008 and 2009.
