Membership Types
There are eight classes of membership at Saucon Valley Country Club (hereinafter called the Club) - Active, Associate, Non-Resident, National, Junior, Recreation, Overseas and Social.

Active Membership: Any person age 21 or older is eligible for election to Active membership.  The Active classification of membership is divided into two categories:
  • Resident – an active member who owns or leases a residence within 30 air miles of the Club
  • Regional – an active member who owns or leases a residence within 30 – 50 air miles of the Club
Non-Resident Membership: A person otherwise eligible for election to Active or Associate membership who resides within 50-130 air miles from the Club may become a Non-Resident member.

National Membership: A person otherwise eligible for election to Resident or Regional Active, Associate or Non-Resident membership who resides over 130 air miles from the Club may become a National member.

Associate Membership: The following persons are eligible for election or transfer to Associate membership: a clergyman who is the pastor of a church or an official in a national, local or other governing body of a religious denomination; a widow/widower of any member; any Active member who reaches the age of 80 regardless of years of membership; and any Active member who reaches the age 70 and has been a member for a minimum of 25 years.

Junior Membership: Any person 21-34 years of age is eligible for election to Junior Membership. A member in this classification is designated as either a Junior Member or a Junior Legacy member if they are the child/grandchild of a member.

Recreation Membership: Any person age 21 or older is eligible for election to Recreation membership. This class of membership provides for dining, social and athletic privileges.

Overseas Membership: A person otherwise eligible for election to Resident or Regional Active, Associate, Non-Resident or National membership who resides outside North America may become an Overseas member.

Social Membership: Any Resident or Regional Active, Associate, Non-Resident, National, Recreation or Overseas member who has attained the age of 65, regardless of the number of years he/she has been a member, may qualify for Social Membership.
